Blackberry Bread and Butter Pudding




Ingredients:
  • 4 Slices white bread (Crusts removed).
  • 230 grams blackberries.
  • Brown sugar.
  • Cognac.
  • Double cream.
  • Butter.
Preparation:
  • Heat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Generously butter four slices white bread (crusts removed).
  • Lay half the bread in a shallow baking dish.
  • Cover with half a pound of blackberries and sprinkle with brown sugar.
  • Cover with the remaining bread, buttered side up.
  • Dust with more sugar and a splash of cognac.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes.
  • Drizzle with double cream.
