London offers possibly the best shopping experience of any city in the world. London is a shopping Mecca because is a global centre of fashion and style, visitors can get unique designer goods; tendencies that star here are frequently exported worldwide.
Everything you could want to buy is available in London; with over 30,000 retail stores spread across the Capital, you will find an amazing variety of shops all over London, ranging from the most exclusive and expensive boutique stores to lively street markets.

Charing Cross Road and Bloomsbury are a book-lovers haven; there are new, second-hand, specialist and antiquarian books. Tottenham Court Road is the place for computer and electronic items. If you are looking for rarities, 12" and vinyl then Soho is your place, there are a large number of music shops. London is famous for its street markets spread thorough the city, some of the best include Brick Lane, Portobello Road, Bermondsey and Alfie’s for antiques, and Camden Market for clothes, accessories and more.
Euro in progressively more accepted in major shops. Standard shopping hours are Monday to Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 06:00 p.m., although some shops open as late as 08:00 p.m. On Sundays, stores are allowed to be open for 6 hours, usually 11:00 a.m. – 05:00 p.m., but stores located in designated tourist areas are exempt from this law. Most large shopping stores tend to close on a Bank holiday, whilst smaller shops will remain open. On Easter Sunday, Easter Monday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Years you will find almost all stores shut.
